Traditional handcrafted ceramics meet contemporary experimental endeavours in the work of ceramicist and applied artist Tünde Ruzicska. She forms her objects by hand and gives them their final form in the kiln. This time, the artist offers visitors a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes secrets of making ceramic plates. Surrounded by her objects, she will talk about her sources of inspiration and the needs of her customers to observe when creating a new collection, while visitors can make their own plates in a variety of colours and finishes. With the use of stretching slabs and high-fire base materials, the workshop will be organised in the spirit of presence, creation, inspiration and recreation with Tünde’s help, not to speak of the useful and beautiful ceramic objects made by the participants to take home.
