On the contemporary design scene, a complex process can be observed in which designers are letting their audience come closer to them. Sustainable design methods are presented to consumers and the workshop becomes a space for knowledge sharing and exchange. Design concept creation goes beyond the creation of objects. It also includes the possibility and method of transferring sustainable design practices by developing fresh approaches to services.
During this hybrid workshop, fashion brand WEALL will give participants an insight into the entire modelling process of a women’s top created using upcycling techniques. The steps of the re-creation can be followed by the participants, who will then be able to construct their own garments. Participants can bring their own worn or old shirts for the creation, but materials will also be provided on site.
The concept, as a good practice, aims at the social utility and usability of eco-conscious object design/clothing creation, offering a solution that can be integrated into DIY processes through virtual spaces. The hybrid workspace becomes a space for social connection and interaction.
The workshop is free of charge, but the VENUE is limited to a maximum of ten people. Please register at email@example.com
In case personal attendance is not possible, ONLINE participation will be available. A link to connect will be provided in the posts related to the event on the brand’s social media pages.
