VALAMI: Open Studio and Fair

On this day, visitors can gain insight into the daily life of a working creative studio: they can observe how objects are made, meet the people who create them, and learn about the techniques involved. Participants can interact with the designers working in the studio, discover their stories and processes, and explore graphic (screen printing, risograph), bookmaking, and ceramic techniques available at the space. During the event, works by the studio’s artists and collaborators will also be on display and available for purchase. Featured designers include Lapozó, RisoPlant, Veronika Fazekas (jewellery designer), CERAMATE Studio, Eszti Kondász, Kalandorka Studio, Luca Kamilla Kuti, Szeeria Studio, and others.

About the Organiser:
Valami Produktív is a multidisciplinary creative studio in central Budapest, providing workspace for artists across various fields and supporting artistic, cultural, and community projects. Its studios host printmaking techniques such as screen printing and risograph, book and publication production, as well as ceramics and object creation. The studio also offers graphic design and illustration services, creating visual identities, publications, and unique graphic materials to support artistic, cultural, and community initiatives. Following the principles of slow design, Valami Produktív emphasises processes that require time, attention, and presence – whether for visual arts and design projects, education, creative services, or the development of its own products.
