This programme features presentations by young designers who graduated from the Product Design Institute at Óbuda University’s Rejtő Sándor Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Engineering, and who are now active members of recognised Hungarian brands’ creative teams. They will share the history, values, and design philosophies of the brands they represent, detailing their professional roles, involvement in development processes, and past design work. Practical case studies will explore challenges in prototype development, mass production, and sustainable material use, while also addressing industrial collaborations, trends, and technological innovations. The programme offers attendees a direct insight into the operation of the Hungarian design industry, the realities of launching a career, and the process of portfolio building. The presentations will conclude with a roundtable discussion, providing a platform for direct exchange of ideas.
