The exhibition “Boundless Material: The Encounter of Surprising Materials and Imagination” is a surreal, mixed-media display that dissolves genre boundaries between painting, sculpture, photography, and design. The showcased works, from 3D posters to sculptural compositions, employ unusual and unexpected materials: textiles, photo and digital collages, clay, wires, food, makeup, charcoal, shells, flowers, ceramics, beads, cutlery, or even phone screens appear in new roles. These reimagined everyday objects create works that balance between two-dimensional and three-dimensional worlds, generating hybrid artistic forms. The exhibition encourages active engagement from visitors, inviting them into the world of textures, depth, and surreal visual narratives. The project closely aligns with BDW 2025’s “Fluid Boundaries” theme, celebrating the limitless encounter of material and imagination.
