HORA design – pop-up

Location:

Budapest, Pikszis Kultúrpont – 1064, Rózsa u. 64. fsz. 4.

Dates

2025.10.19 11:00 - 15:00

At Pikszis Kultúrpont, a pop-up mini installation and market will showcase the works of Debóra Horák, designer of HORA Design. Her creations are inspired by architectural styles as well as the forms and textures of nature. The ceramic objects emerge as a dialogue between contemporary design and natural motifs, serving as visual focal points that elegantly combine aesthetics and functionality. The display will mainly feature ceramic objects of use and small sculptures, reflecting current visual trends while embodying a fluid, ever-changing approach built on contrasts. The pop-up installation is closely linked to the Pikszis Gallery’s current exhibition, Panka Mattesz’s first solo show as a contemporary painter.

About the Organiser:
Pikszis Kultúrpont is a cultural, exhibition, and event space with a focus on visual culture and music. Its two permanent units, Pikszis Gallery and Soul Cure Records, operate in parallel, in continuous collaboration and are physically interconnected. The venue hosts regularly renewed contemporary exhibitions and enriches Budapest’s cultural scene with numerous music, contemporary fashion, and design programmes. The Pikszis Gallery features individual and group exhibitions by young, contemporary artists who operate at the intersections of art forms, styles, and techniques. Offering an intimate atmosphere as an alternative to white-cube galleries, the space encourages open dialogue and immersive engagement. The gallery’s artistic director is Zsófi Horváth, painter and one of Pikszis’ founders.
