How much data do we generate about ourselves in a single day? How many steps do we take, how often does our heart beat, how many calories do we burn? Numerous apps and striking visualisations help us monitor our physical and mental activity. These observations can reveal meaningful correlations that contribute to maintaining our health. Supported by MOME, the Healthperiment exhibition, realised within Hungarian Telekom’s “Data Experiment” programme, highlights the importance of consciously interpreting our data. The exhibited works are created using various data visualisation techniques, presenting the personal data stories behind smart devices and statistical reports as creative imprints of subjective data collection. The project involves the Telekom Learning Experience CoE as a professional partner, with mentorship led by Mihály Minkó (MOME Ecology and Action Lab) and the exhibition design credited to Andrea Kovács (MOME Business Community).

The Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design is a community of artists, designers, creators, and innovators committed to challenging mediocrity. The institution applies a human-centred approach in education, combining mentorship, collaboration, and value-based design practices. MOME has long been a leading force in data visualisation, not only in education and research but also through expert instructors, guest lecturers, and real-world project support.
Hungarian Telekom, named the world’s most valuable telecom brand by Brand Finance in 2025, has recently placed data at the centre of its strategy. To enhance data literacy, it established the “Data Experiment” practical programme in collaboration with MOME, inviting its employees to create data-driven artistic works using their knowledge in data collection, analysis, and visualisation.
