This afternoon, you’ll get answers to everything you’ve ever wanted to know about wood veneers.

Meet our materials up close — we’ll be designing patterns, making plywood panels, and sharing stories about our workshop, past exhibitions, and how we got here.

You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at our design and production process — and we’ll show off some of our boldest patterns, too.

There’ll be a live DJ set, snacks, and a few surprises along the way!

About the organiser:

Multipraktik is a small woodworking studio from Hungary, where design, fine craftsmanship, and visual experimentation meet. Originally founded in the 1980s as a manufacturer of table tennis blades, our studio has evolved into a multidisciplinary practice rooted in furniture and interior design. We create high-quality plywood panels, veneered surfaces, and custom furniture pieces with strong aesthetic character. Our latest innovation, BARAZDA, is a structured panel made by layering dyed veneers and cutting precise grooves into the surface—revealing vibrant patterns and a unique tactile quality.
