The event is recommended for those interested in the life of freelance ceramicists, the workings of a community studio model, or simply curious about the people behind the objects. The open day aims to foster direct connections between creators and users, creating a personal bond with the objects. The programme takes place on 11 October 2025, Saturday, from 12.00 PM to 5.00 PM at AMMA Studio, Mária utca 36, District VIII, Budapest.
Current members of the studio are Andrea Szuromi, Dorottya Esze, and Eszter Tábi – the team continues to expand.
About the Organiser:
AMMA Studio is a community ceramics workshop in downtown Budapest, offering a creative home for both professional and beginner ceramicists, as well as anyone with an interest in creation. The studio’s mission is to provide an accessible, well-equipped, and inspiring environment that fosters both professional growth and communal creativity. They place great importance on supporting enthusiastic beginners alongside experienced artists. Through their courses, participants can acquire knowledge that would otherwise require years of practice. The spaces at AMMA are designed to ensure that anyone interested in ceramics can find their place. The team has been working together in a community model for years – learning, inspiring, and supporting one another, while also building lifelong friendships.
