This exhibition aims to present the world of collectible design in a unique Austrian–Hungarian collaboration, as an official side event of Budapest Design Week. The project is distinctive in bringing together contemporary creators from Austria and Hungary in a genre still in its infancy in both regions, yet full of developmental potential. The exhibition in Budapest is realised in collaboration between Galerie Zippenfenig (Austria) and East of Eden Gallery (Hungary), creating a shared platform for the latest and most relevant works of the genre from both countries. The selection aims to spark dialogue between creators of the two countries and bring the Hungarian public closer to the artistic values of contemporary design.

About the Organiser:
Curatorial work is carried out by Galerie Zippenfenig in Vienna and East of Eden Gallery in Budapest: the former regularly presents exceptional objects at the intersection of design and art, while the latter specialises in collectible design, focusing on works of art that are not only visually striking but also carry significant value. The Város és Folyó Association also takes part, working to integrate the Danube and its riverbanks more closely into the city by respecting industrial heritage while giving sites a new life as modern community spaces. Project coordination is led by designer, object artist, and civil activist Gábor Góbi.
